Knitting Update

In the past month, I've finished two knitting projects--one that I've been working on since about August (my first post-prelims project):

...and the other that was actually created to fill an immediate need--it was no longer cold enough for my heavy-duty mittens, but also not warm enough for my thin stretchy gloves, so I needed something in between:

  • You are so incredibly talented!!! I want you to teach me some basics so that someday I can make these beautiful beautiful sweaters and mittens! I'm in awe. :)

  • Thanks for the props, everyone. Maybe I should drop out of grad school and start offering knitting lessons...

  • Great sweater! I love the colors. But I'm disappointed...it's a baby sweater?? Does that mean I can't borrow it someday?
