Approaching Moving Day...and Closing Day!

Andy began his first day of work today, at his first call, at a Lutheran church in Rochester, MN. Simon and I are so proud :)

We have all kinds of exciting changes coming up in the next month for our family:
  • August 28th--closing day, we're buying our first home!
  • last weekend in August--moving weekend
  • Labor Day Weekend--Andy's ordination
  • Sept 8th--Simon's first day of full-time child care (I don't know about Simon, but I am not ready for this!)
  • Sept 8th--first day of fall semester for Jess (I'm teaching two classes at the U this fall--I am also not ready for this, but I'm working on it...)

soon-to-be-our home sweet home in Rochester

  • Welcome to the area! We live in St. Charles, just east of Rochester, but spend quite a bit of time in Rochester. I have found this website to be really helpful: www.rochesterfamilies.com
Gives a good calendar with all of the fun kids stuff (story times, etc) and links to other important stuff! Hope you have a good move!
