time lag

We are a couple weeks behind-the-times here in blogland. A couple weekends ago, Jen, Nathan, Ellie, and Ben came to visit us up here in Minnesota. We had a lovely time! Here are a few photos from that portion of their extensive US-visit:

(Just before this photo, while chatting about this sculpture, Ellie insisted that she could, in fact, eat that cherry, and that it was not bigger than her. The spoon however, was too big to be used.)

Ellie was quite excited that Snoopy and Woodstock lived just outside the hotel.

Congratulations on making it to our new site. It isn't truly new, of course...just a new address, and we figured, why not throw in a new background as well?

new name coming...

This is a heads up for those of you who know us and want to be able to continue reading our blog in a few days, when we change the name. The new name, we think, will be "Mr. and Mrs. Gubbins"...that is, www.mr_mrs_gubbins.blogspot.com ...assuming that one's not taken, that is ;-)
