Weekend in Denver

A few weekends ago Simon experienced his first airplane rides, as the three Gubbins flew to Denver for a long weekend. Jess had a conference to attend and present a poster at, and seeing as Simon's godmother lives in Denver, we decided to bring the whole family along for a little vacation weekend with Sarah!

Andy and Simon went to the Children's Museum in Denver, and all of us spent some time at the Denver Zoo.

Simon was generally more interested in picking various objects up off of the ground than at watching the animals

We also got a chance to help celebrate Sarah's birthday, and meet lots of her friends who we've heard stories about!

Thanks for a wonderful weekend Auntie Sarah, we miss you already!

A few weeks ago, we got to spend a weekend in Wisconsin helping my sister with some wedding preparations (Liz & David are getting married in June)! We went shopping for wedding and bridesmaid dresses, and then to went to a bridal shower thrown by two of my aunts & cousins, in Milwaukee. A few photos from the weekend...
