Sooooooo BUSY

The beginning of the school year means its busy-time for the Gubbins...and we don't even have school-aged children yet! Andy has been busy at work with fall programming starting up at church, and Jess' semester started in late August--she is teaching one class as an adjunct about an hour's drive away...this means Theodore is now in child care Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Simon on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Due to Simon's care provider not offering part time care for infants, they actually go to two different places...but its working out, at least well enough for this semester. We are planning to shuffle things for the spring, but for now this will have to do.

It seems we had something nearly every weekend the last month and a half, including the kids and I spending last weekend in Madison and Milwaukee for my cousin's wedding. Here are a few photos of some of our other adventures as summer drew to a close (and some just slipped the cracks in terms of making it to the blog)...

We all enjoyed a visit from Sprocketplug just a couple weeks ago...Simon was particularly fond of him.

Theodore was baptized on September 5th--here he is in his little outfit (thanks Grandma Phyllis!)

With godparents Marc & Kathryn, getting his nap in before the big event!

We got to celebrate our 6th anniversary with a little trip up to Duluth--we even got a night without children!

(Don't worry, the children had their own fun with Grandma Marilyn & Grandpa Steve, here making homemade ice cream with/for Simon!)
