Week 36

I just realized its been quite a while since we posted a belly photo, and those of you far away have no index of just how cumbersome our "little" Pickle is. I say "little" because, according to our last Dr. appointment, it looks like Pickle will not be so little after all...no tiny 6-pounder for us! We have an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow night to get some specific info on the size, so we know what we are dealing with come delivery time.

Here is the belly, just a few days ago, in week 36.
One week from Friday we'll be full-term!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

We had a lovely time this past weekend in a cabin with some good friends, Alex & Katie. We are now in our 36th week, which means we're almost full term. So far, Pickle is staying put--and we hope s/he stays put another few weeks until the semester is over!

Here we are with Isabel & Abbie--just practicing for when Pickle comes :)

Away for the Weekend

We're about to head to Iowa for a long Thanksgiving weekend with dear friends, Alex, Katie, Abbie, and Isabel (who we get to meet for the first time!). We will not have internet until LATE Sunday, though we're assuming we'll have cell phone reception for anyone who really needs to get a hold of us! Photos and updates to come after we return.

Happy Halloween!

A few Halloween-week photos to share...

Andy, modeling his now-completely-finished sweater. Doesn't he look handsome? :-)

We didn't get hoards of adorable trick-or-treaters as we had hoped, but we did get these two friends--posing with their Mom and Andy, who dressed up to greet them.

We had three pumpkins decorating our porch. I had considered carving them earlier, but the week just got too busy. On Halloween day, though, I decided at least one of them should be a jack-o-lantern to greet any trick-or-treaters.
